Distress
While traveling through space, the adventurers receive a faint SOS from an uninhabited region far outside the trade lanes. A damaged ship and frightened female voice provide specific coordinates before further communications become garbled. Players decide whether to investigate the distress call and travel into unknown space to offer assistance. The mission may bring a reward if the survivors are wealthy or politically important, but the call’s source and circumstances remain uncertain.
