Dæmons
The game presents dæmons as beings from realms beyond space and time, such as the Astral Plane, the Outer Dark, or primordial chaos. They have no true physical form and appear in the material world by possessing bodies or through temporary magical summons. These summoned forms dissolve when the spell ends or the dæmon is slain, returning it to its native realm.
