A restored and annotated version of Bram Stoker’s supposed after-action report on a failed British Intelligence operation to recruit and control Count Dracula. Deleted characters, redacted information, lost diary entries, letters, recordings, and suppressed government documents reveal the investigation from its first contact with the undead to Dracula’s disappearance in volcanic fire. Annotations and clues from three generations of MI6 analysts add new context to the familiar account and expand the surrounding conspiracy.
