Dragonbane: The Legacy
This book documents and evaluates a large Nordic live-action roleplaying project held in Älvdalen, Sweden, in 2006. It describes the construction of a village, the use of practical magic effects, and the creation of a life-sized, fire-breathing moving dragon for more than 300 participants from several countries. The book serves as a debriefing for organizers and participants, while outlining the project’s planning, execution, and lessons for others developing large-scale LARPs. It was published as a free PDF and as a printed edition.
