Dread Machine
A fantasy adventure for 3–8 characters of levels 3–6, set amid the remnants of an ancient despotism and the mysterious sect that helped overthrow it. Recurring themes include forgotten mysteries and regalia marked with birds of prey, though no prior adventure or setting knowledge is required. Designed for OSR-style play, the adventure features lethal traps, level-draining undead, dangerous encounters, and situations where retreat is the sensible choice. It is intended for use in fantasy or science-fantasy settings and does not prioritize balanced or fair encounters.
