Hire mercenaries, dogs, and familiars to accompany heroes on dungeon quests for gold and fame. Choose from named or generic mercenaries, three dog breeds that gain experience and abilities, and ten familiars that grant benefits to wizards. Mercenaries fight in a similar manner to enemies, offering a streamlined option for solo play, while dogs and familiars grow more effective as their bonds with heroes strengthen.
