During the Scourge, the Horrors drove the peoples of the world into magical citadels and kaers. Now, emerging civilizations draw on inherited magical traditions and hard-won knowledge to reclaim their lands and oppose the creatures and tyrants threatening them. This supplement expands the second-edition rules with guidelines for advancing characters beyond the basic limits. It adds new talents and spells, rules for large-scale battles, expanded magic systems, and guidelines for playing questors devoted to the Passions.
