A promotional adventure for a fantasy roleplaying game, featuring simplified rules for starting play, an overview of the world of Barsaive, and four pregenerated characters. The included adventure, The Kaer of Tardim, sends the characters into the sealed kaer beneath a village. After the village magician is killed attempting to enter, the village elder asks the characters to discover what happened and identify the threat within.
