Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
When do I resolve the Discovery Tile on the Wardens of Magellan board?
Resolve it the first time you place a fourth Tech on one of your Tech Tracks. (Seekers Rules, p. 1)
What if my Discovery Tile tells me to place something in a Sector, but I don’t control my Starting Sector?
If you don’t control your Starting Sector, take the Discovery Tile as 2 VP instead. (Seekers Rules, p. 1)
Can I turn unused Colony Ships into resources whenever I want as the Wardens?
Yes. At any time, you may flip unused Colony Ships to gain one Resource of your choice for each ship flipped. (Seekers Rules, p. 1)
Do Discovery Tile Ship Parts still score if I remove them from my ship blueprint?
Yes. Each Discovery Tile used as a Ship Part is worth 1 VP at game end, even if removed from a blueprint; keep removed parts by your Species Board as a reminder. (Seekers Rules, p. 1)
Can I build Shrines with a Build Action, and where can I place them?
No—Shrines cannot be placed with a Build Action; you may place one from your Shrine Board with each Research Action, paying its indicated cost. It must go in a Sector you control, next to a planet matching the Resource color used to place it (or a gray planet), and each planet can have only one Shrine. (Seekers Rules, p. 2)
If I lose control of a Sector with one of my Shrines, do I lose the Shrine or its bonus?
No. Shrines remain in their Sector until game end and cannot be destroyed; Shrine bonuses are not dependent on control, cannot be lost once gained, and other species cannot acquire them. (Seekers Rules, p. 2)
