Players take the roles of Inquisition Acolytes investigating a suspicious death in a decayed district of a hive city. The scenario focuses on clue-gathering, interrogation, and confrontations with corruption, heresy, and betrayal as the party traces the source of an illicit plot. The box provides pre-generated characters and streamlined rules to introduce the Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay system, plus flexible adventure paths that allow multiple investigative and combat approaches for players and Game Masters.
