Edge of the Empire Beginner Game
Players take on roles as smugglers, bounty hunters, and other scoundrels operating on the fringes of a spacefaring, high-tech galaxy. The box provides pre-generated character folios, a short learn-as-you-go adventure, and custom narrative dice that resolve actions by generating story-oriented results rather than simple success/failure. Gameplay supports 3–5 novice roleplayers and guides newcomers through rules for skill tests, character actions, and improvisation, while offering detailed references to expand into longer campaigns. Sessions focus on teamwork, cinematic encounters, and converting dice outcomes into narrative consequences.
