On a dark December night in Kingsport, players return to a family home to take part in the ancestral Rite of Winter. The household guards a copy of the Necronomicon, while a hooded procession leads toward an old church and catacombs beneath the town. This interactive gamebook places players in the roles of protagonists facing the cosmic horror of the Cthulhu Mythos. They make decisions throughout the story, determining how the ceremony unfolds and whether they retain their sanity.
