An expansion for true fans of the game Elect. The title Intrigues completely change the rules, forcing them to adopt new strategies. We randomize the plot or choose it before starting the game. The rule introduced by it will last for the rest of the game and will work for all players. This could be, for example, introducing a hand limit or limiting the number of attribute tokens. The plot can also introduce a new card into the game - this is how Bleeding Heart works - a card in the court's stanza that provides 2 Privileges and changes the ending condition. The Intrigue expansion also features new Missions and Influence allowing you to spend resources in exchange for Titles - get ready to get them. If you have nothing to sacrifice, you will walk away empty-handed by your opponents.
