Set in Augsburg in 1518, the game follows monks and nuns from different religious orders investigating allegations of heresy against Martin Luther and possible fraud involving church funds. Players work together to question witnesses and locate evidence, while pursuing their own agendas and arguing over theological principles and minor details. The investigation unfolds as a scenario driven by discussion, deduction, and conflicting priorities.
