It provides historical and mythic details on Roman society, neighboring peoples, major events, weapons, armor, and monsters. The book includes guidelines for adapting standard classes, a gladiator class, new prestige classes, skills, feats, spells, and Fame rules covering patrons, reputation, and elected offices. An introductory adventure, The Soothsayer, is also included.
