Expeditionary Company
In a dying world threatened by the Mists and ruled by mysterious Auric, players manage a new expeditionary company providing security for caravans between the surviving cities. They choose guards, manage resources and finances, sign contracts, and organize journeys through dangerous territory. The adventure unfolds across three linked gamebooks. Players follow cross-references between sections, make choices that shape each mission, resolve challenges with dice, and attempt to fulfill contracts without allowing the company to collapse. Secretly transporting books and investigating the Mists can reveal further paths through the story.
