This Dragon Age RPG supplement explores the history of Varric Tethras, the wisecracking rogue, storyteller, and companion from Dragon Age 2. It opens with an interview with BioWare writer Mary Kirby, followed by Varric’s background and guidance for using him in a campaign. The supplement includes game statistics for Varric at levels 1 and 5, advice for using the Contacts talent, and rules for creating signature items. It also provides statistics for The Hanged Man tavern in Kirkwall, Varric’s leather duster, and his distinctive crossbow, Bianca.
