Assemble and battle miniature armies drawn from different eras and genres, including fantasy creatures, gladiators, Napoleonic troops, and Cossacks. Players build forces of equal point value, then take turns moving units and attacking until one army is defeated or captured. Magic and ability cards provide additional effects, while ballistae, catapults, and other war machines launch plastic missiles that can physically knock opposing miniatures out of the battle. Sets typically include miniatures, war machines, cards, a die, unit sheets, and modular structures such as walls or castle towers.
