A high-fantasy roleplaying game set during the Viking end of days. Fimbulwinter has descended upon Midgard, and the World Tree is plunged into chaos as four ages of destruction unfold. Players guide the destinies foretold by the Norns, taking actions and resolving their outcomes with Futhark runes rather than dice. The Runic Game System determines success and failure while expanding the game’s Norse mythological setting.
