Fettered Ambition
A chronicle starter set in a city where the local Mandarin is consumed by the past, and a revelation threatens to destabilise the Court and ignite a Shadow War. A heimin courier carrying crucial information has been waylaid, kidnapped, or killed, leaving the player characters to investigate the missing cargo. The scenario includes story guidance, clues, locations, recurring non-player characters, and hooks for continuing the campaign. It can serve as an introductory adventure or be incorporated into an ongoing chronicle, with the characters positioned to become power brokers in the city.
