Fighters of Europe

Fast-paced and simple tactical wargame of air battles over Britain during WWII. Players maneuver individual fighter and bomber aircraft across a hex grid, directing attacks against enemy planes, airfields, factories, and other ground objectives. Scenario-driven play features ten included scenarios, with aircraft differentiated by speed, armor, and special abilities. Formations help maintain initiative, while fighters can dodge incoming attacks and bombers can destroy ground installations. The game uses no dice or rulers, and includes historically based aircraft such as Hurricanes, Spitfires, Messerschmitt Bf 109s, Heinkel He 111s, and Junkers Ju 88s.
