As the wind weakens, a king leaves his kingdom to investigate, while a meteor falls and draws a princess, a wandering adventurer, and a mysterious old man together. Their search leads to the Wind Shrine, where they encounter a pirate captain connected to the princess by a shared pendant. Players guide the party through an adventure across the world, exploring locations, advancing the story, fighting enemies, and developing characters through a flexible job system.
