Players create adventuring characters, use miniatures and dice, and explore dungeons while confronting monsters, finding treasure, and casting spells. The set includes an audio adventure with over 60 minutes of recorded material, a Dungeon Master screen and adventure book, rulebook, spell books, monster and treasure guide, dungeon and town maps, six character miniatures with hero cards, character aids, and seven dice.
