Forbidden Lands
A fantasy tabletop roleplaying game that frames play as open-world survival and exploration rather than scripted quests. Players create raiders, rogues and other scoundrels, then explore hex-mapped wilderness to discover lost tombs, battle monsters, and survive hazardous journeys. Rules cover fast character generation, gritty combat, lethal magic and travel dangers, with mechanics for establishing and defending a player-built stronghold. The set includes setting and bestiary material, adventure sites and random encounters, character background tools, a large fold-out map and stickers to mark sites and graves as the campaign progresses.
