Forest of Fate

A party of up to six adventurers travels through a dangerous forest toward the local tavern, facing beasts, bandits, and hazards of nature along the way. Players choose routes, negotiate approaches, and use character skills, artefacts, and found items to resolve encounters through a branching storybook. Encounter cards are randomly arranged for each game, creating different paths and outcomes. Characters who lose all their life points may return as Shades, gaining abilities that let them hinder the surviving party by predicting its next move.
