Frankenstein's Monster
Victor Frankenstein creates life through an experiment, then abandons his nameless creation in horror. Eight feet tall, yellow-skinned, and grotesque in appearance, the monster is shunned wherever it goes. Forced to wander the wilderness and survive on little, the creature educates itself and becomes eloquent and well-mannered. Its lack of identity and rejection by its creator remain sources of despair.
