FUBAR
A compact set of rules for tabletop combat in WWII, modern, and science-fiction settings. Players assemble forces from units, figures, generic weapons, and customizable vehicles, then activate units one at a time until an activation roll fails and play passes to the opponent. Units that have not moved or fail to activate can use reaction fire. Movement uses a short list of actions such as walking, running, and assaulting. Combat uses attack rolls and armor saving throws, with hits causing suppression or casualties. More experienced units can withstand more suppression before taking casualties. Force lists, weapon options, and vehicle details are left open for players to define, with supplements covering additional settings and scales.
