Ghastly Affair Presenter's Manual (Revised)
This companion guide provides tools for running a Gothic game of romantic horror. It includes advice on creating scenarios and managing sessions, along with over 100 creatures and adversaries, from animals and fairies to monsters, revenants, spirits, and human antagonists. The book also presents a chronology of European incidents from 1765 to 1820, Gothic genre conventions, rules for personifications of Death and the Devil, expanded drug and disease rules, 27 weird objects from real-world lore, and guidance for adjudicating human capacities and limits. Alternate ability contest rules and instructions for using Tarot cards instead of dice are included.
