Golden Journal Number 55: Flying Carriers
This booklet and set of die-cut playing pieces explores the U.S. Navy’s rigid airships Akron and Macon, which carried aircraft in internal hangars during their brief service in the 1930s. It also covers proposed replacement ships, the larger ZRCV flying carrier, Japanese airship designs, and other lighter-than-air projects. The pieces and scenarios add these aircraft-carrying airships to Second World War at Sea: Java Sea and Midway Deluxe Edition.
