Grayroot Saviors

A level-3 fantasy roleplaying adventure for Shadowdark, set in a forest where a mysterious mage drains the life from nearby plants and animals. The characters track the mage through the blighted wilderness while time grows short. Along the way, they can form alliances with awakened animals and fey creatures, including a dryad who reveals the location of a hidden vault. Inside lies a legendary weapon needed to confront the mage in the ruins. The adventure supports OSR-style play and can be adapted to other fantasy roleplaying systems.
