Griswald Grimm's Little Shop of Poisons and Potions
A fantasy reference volume for magic users, containing 30 poisons and potions for adventuring and everyday use. Formulas include substances that can petrify, ignite, detect evil, create lightning, enhance lockpicking, or transform a target into a bird. It also includes a kit bag of 30 potions costing less than 1,000 gold pieces each, plus unforeseen side-effect charts using six-, ten-, and twelve-sided dice. A previously unpublished short story, “Dragon Medic,” reveals the origins of the shopkeeper behind these formulas.
