GURPS Places of Mystery
A sourcebook of lost worlds, hidden cities, sacred sites, and other places of mystery, covering locations such as Atlantis, Stonehenge, Babylon, the pyramids, Shangri-La, Easter Island, and the Plains of Nazca. It includes regional descriptions from around the world, along with material on ley lines, haunted places, underground cities, geomancy, ancient navigators, and the Seven Wonders. The book also presents a “Secret History” campaign framework involving subtle magic or lost technology in the real world, past or present. Rules for places of power allow mystics and wizards to draw strength from specific locations, while additional material covers legendary creatures, space gods, and other unexplained phenomena.
