2026 · Expansion for Base-game
Harmonies: Crescendo
Adds three modular expansions that can be played separately or together to alter core gameplay. Sanctuaries introduces new landscape tiles for building larger habitats that hold multiple animals. New personal boards provide alternate field layouts and scoring paths. Whisper Creatures adds a set of companion cards that attach to animal cards and create new synergies and interactions between pieces.

Fiore5.0 The introduction of the "magical" Whispers ruin completely the bucolic, adorable nature of the core game. It's a fantasy element that this game totally did not need. Sanctuaries are actually good. New boards are meh. I was hoping for the introduction of new features like waterfalls (stacked water tokens) and a whole new set of creature cards but no....we got Whispers instead. Sheesh.

Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
Can I take a Sanctuary tile in addition to my normal actions, and does it count toward my card limit?
Yes. Taking one is an optional extra action, but Sanctuary tiles count with your cards toward the limit of 4 above your board. If you take one of the two tiles beside the pile, refill that space at the end of your turn if possible (p. 5).
Does a Sanctuary let me build any normally illegal stack?
No. It lets you create only the one specific stack shown on that tile; it doesn’t allow another such stack elsewhere. There’s no penalty for leaving the Sanctuary unfinished (pp. 5, 7).
When can I put an Animal cube on a completed Sanctuary?
When exactly one cube remains on an Animal card, you may place it on a completed Sanctuary if its color matches either of that Sanctuary’s two colors. A Sanctuary can hold any number of these cubes (p. 6).
How do I score a Sanctuary, and do I count every token in a neighboring stack?
A completed Sanctuary scores 3 points for each adjacent space whose top token matches either of its two colors. Count only the top token in each adjacent space (p. 7).
On side D, do Trees and Fields score if they’re on dry spaces?
No. Trees and Fields occupying spaces that are dry at the end of the game score 0; a dry space becomes ordinary when it is adjacent to Water. A Field scores 6 only if it has at least 2 contiguous yellow tokens and at least one occupies an ordinary space (p. 9).
Can a Whisper cube share a space with an Animal cube, and how many points is that worth?
Yes, a Whisper cube can share a space with an Animal or Nature’s Spirit cube. A lone Whisper cube scores 2 points, while a Whisper cube sharing with either of those cubes scores 5 (pp. 11–12).
