An expansion that adds deeper mining and industrial infrastructure to the base game’s rural setting. New mechanics introduce iron for reinforcing tunnels and water channels to manage flooding, reflecting the region’s shift from mixed farming to coal-dominated labor. Players continue to develop plots and dig shafts while allocating workers to extract coal, supply peddlers, and load early coal barges on the river. The box includes two optional modules that change strategic choices and 21 new development tiles that expand building and resource combinations.
