Kiri no Machi is a quiet mountain village north of the Empire, where samurai seeking enlightenment share their retreat with the heimin. Five days ago, one of the samurai disappeared along with his daishō, and no trace of him has been found. The game centers on uncovering what happened in the village and bringing him back.
