This Cortex Plus Action Roleplaying hack focuses on a team of survivors in a self-created zombie apocalypse. Players create Survivors, work together on missions, scrounge for supplies, help others, and avoid hostile gangs, cults, bandits, and other threats. The rules add mission mechanics, a Viral Pool for difficulty dice and random hazards, new character options and Talents, and a range of zombie types and variants, including voodoo zombies. The supplement also includes environmental hazards, wild animals, guidance for creating zombies, and tools for adapting its ideas to other Cortex Plus styles. It requires the Action Roleplaying rules from the Cortex Plus Hacker’s Guide.
