Heat: Rocky Roads

Two new race courses add gravel-strewn and high-speed challenges to the 1966 Championship season. One track runs through South African terrain where loose gravel and uneven surfaces force careful speed and positioning decisions; car control and risk management matter when slipping or spinning is a danger. The Germany course features long straights and newly built chicanes that emphasize top speed, timing, and lane choice. Players manage their cars’ movement, handle hazards, and use a new sliding skirt mechanic to influence slipstreaming and tactical overtakes during the race.
