Hero's Blood
This Pathfinder Roleplaying Game adventure follows a party of 10th-level characters into a rugged frontier claimed by warring barbarian clans. They find a garrison surrounded by a corpse-strewn battlefield, its soldiers and attackers slaughtered and their hearts removed. Investigation of the sealed fortress reveals a horror tied to corruption of the mind, body, and soul, using the corruption rules from Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Horror Adventures. The scenario works as a standalone wilderness adventure or as part of a campaign involving warfare, colonial oppression, and conflict with hinterland tribes.
