Hig Kalduhr The Dwarven Fortress
A system-neutral dwarven mountain fortress, several generations old, provides a setting for adventures and easy access to a vast underground realm. The relatively peaceful stronghold is home to eccentric inventors, scholarly acolytes, fierce warriors, and other residents, while strange beasts occasionally emerge from the caverns below. Five clans shape life in the fortress: the Bloodminers guard and harvest timber, the Blazeforge craft inventions and machinery, the Mudguts mine and carve stone, the Stonebrothers pursue faith and learning, and the Deepbringers guard and scout the unknowable depths.
