Hinkel & Stein
In ancient Gaul, tribes and Romans compete in a contest using four types of stones and a seesaw scale. Two to four players place stones on spaces at either end of the scale, while the rotating Chief determines whether the lighter or heavier side wins the round. Before placing a stone, players may raise the prize of wooden discs or take one for themselves, forfeiting any chance to win the round’s prize. Each stone type has a special ability, and all players use each type across several matches, creating a tactical wagering game.
