How, in the Name of the Trollgod, Did I Get Here?
A fantasy roleplaying supplement that generates detailed backgrounds for newly created characters. Tables cover occupations, magical and tribal careers, family circumstances, life events, characteristics, fortune, rank, promotions, crises, ageing, and ailments, with each result contributing to a character’s history before adventuring. The process plays like a short solo adventure for each character. A separate character re-generator provides miraculous escapes, later-life developments, and new reasons for deceased characters to return for another adventure. Designed with Deluxe Tunnels and Trolls in mind, the tables require little adaptation for use with other fantasy roleplaying systems.
