Hyperspace: Yithian
A species that adopts the abilities, weaknesses, and technology of other species through mindswaps. It begins as a flexible, unmodified civilization, then changes its capabilities by exchanging minds with different species, requiring both the Yithians and their rivals to adapt. Its battleships also reconfigure their systems to suit each new form, taking on different roles as the civilization changes.
