The adventurers take a seemingly simple job guarding building supplies near Ubersreik, only to become entangled in tragedy, murder, and an ancient beast said to haunt the marshes. They must investigate the double-dealing camp of a merchant and his business partners while confronting the creature they have unwittingly awakened. This Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay Fourth Edition adventure is designed for beginner characters and concludes in the fortress-town of Ubersreik.
