In the Hall of the Mountain King
A group of level-7 adventurers arrives at a desert settlement where an ancient sundial provides fresh water. The locals are being intimidated by foreign dwarves, who demand that their leader kneel before the mysterious Mountain King. The characters journey into the desert and explore a decaying underground compound occupied by the dwarves. There, they confront Vallarg Vik, whose ancient crown has allowed the spirit of a long-dead ruler to possess him. Their decisions determine the fate of hundreds of people living near the Great Desert.
