Independence: A District of African-American Folk Heroes Fighting Oppression
This standalone PDF adds Independence, a new district for the City of Mist RPG. Its close-knit community of African-American folk heroes resists systematic oppression by the Gatekeepers and their clone forces in Ward 9. Players can follow a story arc in which they complete missions, earn the trust of Bishop’s Crew, and join them in an assault on Ward 9’s headquarters. The district also provides allies, recruitable Rifts, and mysteries surrounding the origins of the Mist, including the Town Hall and the battle-scarred grounds of the Old Fort.
