Infla: Defla
An extension to the classic property-trading game, this version retains the objective of avoiding bankruptcy while accumulating the most wealth. Players experience different monetary conditions, including the gold standard, boom, inflation, hyperinflation, and deflation, using economic-cycle tables to track their effects. New event and community cards introduce situations such as terrorism and recovery plans, while gold and silver provide crisis-safe investment options. The game explores the relationship between monetary policy, economic activity, mortgages, and changing currency values.
