Players explore a shifting jungle of cards where the rules change as the game progresses. On a turn a player draws and then plays cards; played cards can alter draw and play counts, hand limits, and table conditions, and can introduce new Goals that redefine how to win. The deck contains character and event cards tied to the film theme that interact with the Fluxx mechanics, creating sudden hazards and opportunities. Some editions include extra cards and a token used in specific card effects; availability of those components varies by publisher.
