King John: Barons' War Sourcebook
This sourcebook expands a tabletop wargame set during the turbulent reign of King John, as conflict with France, Wales, Scotland, and rebellious English barons leads to the Magna Carta and civil war. It updates the Feudal European retinue list and adds six factions: Welsh, Scottish, Poitevin, Flemish, Mercenary, and Outlaw forces. Rules and background cover historical figures including King John, William Marshal, Philip Augustus, and Robin Hood. Ten scenarios recreate events from clashes in the Welsh Marches and the Battle of Bouvines to the campaigns surrounding Lincoln.
