King of the Valley: The Festival
Introduces five festival locations, several commoners, and new specialists to the valley. Players pick up commoners for free while forming kingdoms and claiming subjects, then send them to active locations to earn gold, gain reputation, or trigger special abilities. Commoners can drink beer at the Bierstube, support the theatre, or take part in the Jousting Field, where players influence the tournament and bet on its outcome. The Priest, Wizard, and Tax Collectors gain additional abilities, while competing actions affect the income available to other players. The expansion adds about 15 minutes to the game.
