The destruction of Valstedt by the Dämmerstone explosion transformed the landscape of the Umbarla Basin and released wild magic into the surrounding wildlife. Unnatural creatures now inhabit the ruins and roam the basin, creating a dangerous environment for the Umbar barbarians. The game focuses on confronting these mutated beasts in the harsh wilderness.
